Pre-GA ECS Icebreaker
Attending the EGU General Assembly for the first time? Want to get to know other early career scientists from your discipline or taste the interdisciplinary nature of geosciences? Then join us for the pre-GA Icebreaker organized jointly by Atmospheric Sciences (AS), Geodesy (G), Geodynamics (GD), Natural Hazards (NH), Seismology (SM) and Solar-Terrestrial Sciences (ST) division ECS Teams (it's the perfect activity after you pick up your name badge!). We will meet at Copa Beach (approximate location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/LNK6Hf7dGkE3grLy9) and we plan to go to the EGU Opening Reception at the conference venue (ACV) afterwards. The EGU Opening Reception starts at 18:30.

Solar-Terrestrial Sciences ECS Picnic
Join the Solar-Terrestrial Sciences (ST) Early Career Scientists (ECS) community for an informal lunch (please bring your own food!) to get to know your fellows to network, get tips for a successful week and mingle with some experts of our field. In case of good weather, the picnic will be at Donaupark, close to the conference centre. In case of bad weather, the picnic is tentatively planned to take place at Terrace G.
